The Heat is On

Today's doodle is dedicated to NY's Bravest...specifically those oh-so-fine gentlemen of Ladder 149 in our neighborhood.  Yep, little boys and ladies alike are fascinated with firemen.  Maybe it's the calendars...for the latter I mean.  Clearly kids like all the rad equipment and hooked up vehicles.  We see the truck illegally parked in front of Foodtown on the avenue almost everyday.  Oscar always asks what they're doing in the grocery store.  My response never changes - "Buying ingredients to make chili."  I have no idea why I believe this is the only meal firemen ever have.  Well, the weather, the dudes in uniform & their activities all equal one HOT Wednesday.  Have a good one!  xoxo
